Baobab Theatre: Call for Actor/Facilitators

Baobab Theatre, a new children’s theatre company for the under 7s is looking for actor/facilitators to work on a profit-share basis on an original play. We have confirmed show dates in Pavilion Theatre and DLR libraries as part of Flip Flop Children’s Theatre Festival, with a view to continue performances on a twice-weekly basis in Dublin and surrounding areas in primary schools and crèches during the autumn term.

Initial schedule:
Tuesday Aug 10th (10:30am – 1pm) - Open invitation for devising based on an existing original script.
Wed Aug 11th (10:30am – 1pm) – Casting
Thurs 12th & Fri 13th (10:30am – 1pm) – first two mornings of rehearsal

Ideally, applicants will attend the first two mornings and be prepared to be available for the last two mornings. We will be operating a flexible rehearsal schedule based on availability of cast in August and September with opening performance on October 13th, 2010. Casting/Rehearsals in Pavilion Theatre Green Room.
