devise+conquer theatre company will be holding auditions for their production of The Merchant of Venice on Saturday 7th (10-6) and Sunday 8th (12-6) August in Dublin city centre.
Cast: The production requires 15 men and 3 women. The cast covers a wide variety of ages and applications from international actors are also invited for all roles but especially in respect of The Prince of Morocco and the Prince of Aragon
Production Dates: 8th, 9th, 10th November – day-time and evening performances. Actors will also need to be available for the two days preceding this.
Rehearsal Dates: Sun 29th August – 7th November (part-time). The rehearsal times for this production will be fluid to fit (as best possible) around people’s other work commitments. Large group work is most likely to happen on evenings and/or weekends, however it is hoped that some scene work could be covered during the day if actors are available. Rehearsals will take place in Dublin accessible by public transport.

Successful applicants will be notified of their audition time by e-mail and should have a short classical monologue prepared for the audition. Audition duration will be approx. 15 min.
