1. What is CastingZone.ie?
CastingZone.ie is a service that provides a directory of talent in the entertainment industry for use by potential employers including Bookers, Casting agents and Agents. CastingZone.ie is a meeting place for the industry. We aim to put potential employers and employees in touch with each other in an efficient and effective way, so that talent and industry personnel can be identified, considered, contacted, and booked for work.
2. How does it work?
Models or their agents post their online portfolios which can be viewed by registered users- Directors, Producers, Casting Directors, Agents, industry personnel.
3. How do I join CastingZone.ie?
New members may sign up by going to WWW.castingzone.ie and complete the online registration form.
4. How do I make my payment?
You can pay immediately on-line by using your laser card or credit card. You can send us a cheque or a postal order to our address.
5. Who can see my CastingZone.ie information?
Bookers, casting agents and industry professionals who have been validated by the CastingZone.ie team

6. Is my personal information secure?
At CastingZone.ie we take your privacy seriously. Your personal information, and contact information can only be accessed via Encrypted Communications (SSL). Only casting directors who have been vetted by our staff can access your information and all views on your personal information are logged.
7. Does CastingZone.ie take a commission
No, the employer uses CastingZone.ie as a directory and hence will deal with you directly or your agent as appropriate.
8. Do I need to have an agent to join CastingZone.ie?
No, you can represent yourself. Thus if a booker or employer contacts you, you will negitate fees, hours etc
9. Will my agent mind if I join CastingZone.ie?
Being listed on CastingZone.ie does not effect the relationship between you and your agent. If a booker wishes to contact you, they will contact your agent (if you have one).
10. Can I join if I am under 18 years old?
Yes, though parental / guardian consent is required
11. How do I know when my membership needs to be renewed?
CastingZone.ie notifies all members in advance by email and text
12. How do I cancel my membership?
If you wish your listing to be removed contact us by email
13. How many photographs can I upload?
You can upload up to 20 photogrpahs on your profile. If you need to upload more then 20 photos contact us by email .
14. What's in my CastingZone.ie online porfolio?
Photo gallery, contact details, if you are represented, statistics, training, skills, credits, the information you put there
15. How do I upload material to my CastingZone.ie online portfolio?
See the relevant pages for online portfolio. It is fairly straightforward, if you encounter any difficulties, just drop us an email.
16. How do I update material in my portfolio?
You can update your material anytime on line.
17. Can my agent update my portfolio?
If the member gives their password to someone that person can update the information
18. What should I put on my cv?
Always include photo gallery, contact details, if you are represented, statistics, training, skills, credits
19. Who is responsible for the material on CastingZone.ie?
The account holder is responsible for the material uploaded to their account
20. Can I upload moving images with me in them?
Yes, you can upload a showreel and voice reel if you have one. CastingZone.ie will not take responsibility for uploaded material, the account holder is responsible for the material uploaded to their account and should get any permissions required
21. How do I find an agent?
CastingZone.ie cannot recommend particular agents, you can state that you are seeking representation
22. Can I email my CastingZone.ie portfolio to whoever I want?
You will be able to email a link to an online portfolio which will consist of your CV details, photogrpaghs, expereince, credits showreel and any other information to a third party. This feature will be live within the next couple of days.

In short no. Some agencies specialise in children and young people

29. How do I get started in the Industry?
Try to get an agent, be aware that this can be difficult. There are agencies that specialise in different areas such as, fashion, child and family, glamour.
